Chapter & Fraternity History

Chapter History
The Fort Worth Cowtown Alumni chapter was founded by Brother Marcy Castillo in 2003. Since then, Cowtown has continued to grow, and has become a thriving alumni chapter.

Through our community service events, brotherhood events, and many other activities, our members make a significant impact on the Fraternity and the local community. Our events are focused primarily in Tarrant County, but we have members from all over the DFW metroplex and welcome any Deltasig alumni to join us.

Fraternity History
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Delta Sigma Pi was founded in 1907 at New York University School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance by Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello and Henry Albert Tienken.

Today, Delta Sigma Pi has over 300 collegiate and alumni chapters and over 226,000 members around the world.
